| "Good layout, greens were in great shape. One suggestion I would make for this relatively new course is to have yardage books, GPS or even just an aiming stake at the 150 mark. It was difficult to determine where to hit the ball for the first time playing the course.
"This course is easy to get to from Interstate 196, if you have been there before, or if you have GPS. I believe a new direction sign or two would help out.
"The drive up to the clubhouse had my doubts; however once I was greeted by the staff I knew I was in for a fun day.
"This is definitely a Links style course, with a great lay-out. The tee boxes are well kept with a variety of skill levels for all players. The fairways are always curved around many bunkers, which always present a challenge. The greens are large, and very playable even with some having 2-4 foot elevation changes.
"The greens are a blast to putt on, hands down the best part of the course.
"I also liked the difference in front nine to back nine. The front nine offers many waste bunkers that travel the length of the holes, these bunkers are for the most part easy to hit out of. Also, the front nine offers a great risk/reward hole on the 3rd hole.
"The back nine offers many water hazards, but also has many bunkers as well. Which for a Links course is unique. If you are 'MAN-ENOUGH', there is a 685-yd par 5, hole 16. This is played from the back tees.
"I would recommend this course to any level of player, and to any size of group outing." |

| "The course is laid out very nicely and has the potential to be a top southwest Michigan course."

| "I enjoyed this course very much. When I first drove up, the unassuming clubhouse and almost treeless expanse made me wonder how nice a course it could be. But once I was on the course I appreciated its links-like layout. There are plenty of sand traps, many of them just in the right place to catch my drives, and lots of tall grass and mounding to make the layout interesting.
"The back nine has lots of water, which swallowed three of my balls. A few of the greens have mind-bending level changes and undulations, almost tricked up, but the greens weren't rolling fast enough to be unfair. There are a few surprises that would make the course play easier the second or third time around, like hidden water on 13 and a right-angle dogleg on 10.
"Wind will almost always be a factor on such an open layout. I usually walk, but I took a cart because it was a bargain, but I was glad I did because there are some long hikes between holes. A very good value for the money. I would gladly come back." |

| "The wide-open track found at Beeches Golf Club can easily lull an inexperienced player into a false sense of security. The rest of us will see the undulations in the greens, bunkers, water hazards, and unpredictable wind gusts off Lake Michigan to note that Beeches will present an exciting challenge.
"Reasonably priced, with a great staff that's always quick to remember your name (and often your favorite beverage as well), Beeches is a great time that you'll want to repeat." |

| "The Beeches is the absolute best all-around golf course in the South Haven, Michigan area. Scenic, challenging and well manicured." |
